GIPIN

FIREMAP participates in the GIPIN project consortium - Integrated Pine Forest Management/Pine Wood Nematode.
This project seeks to develop operational strategies that overcome the constraints associated with pine wilt disease (PWD), in accordance with national and community regulations and guidelines, making maritime pine forest management more efficient.
The Consortium is led by the National Federation of Forest Owners Associations (FNAPF) and also includes ICNF - Institute for Nature Conservation, INIAV, the University of Coimbra, FIREMAP, FLOPONOR, Florgénese and the PINUS Center.
The project has the support of the PDR - Rural Development Program, through the FEADER.
